Originally designed to meet the needs of large sized hotels its flexibility accommodates even the smallest. The System One Series has now been acknowledged as the ideal solution of not only the hospitality industry but also the booming condominium, commercial construction and municipal markets, in fact any property that requires accountable access control.
The System One Series offers three levels of technology, Proximity, DT ( dual technology) to include both smart and magnetic card and Magnetic card only. Which ever level is chosen, the System One Series offers the same basic principals of enhancing hotel security, making the daily routines easier thereby reducing the overall work load of the hotel staff.
The operating system for all three levels is a main unit, consisting of a PC and a card encoder. A standard magnetic card, a smart card or a proximity card is issued at check-in, containing encrypted information such as hotel identity, time limitations, room number and additional door access.
The door locking unit will – once the card has been inserted or touched – read the data (the smart card data or the data on track 3 of the magnetic card) and grant access to the correct room.
The operating system is Windows based and can be expanded with any number of check-in stations and additional locks. It is also possible for two check-in stations to share one card encoder.
